Details

The VSW-4H-USB features four HDMI inputs that support up to full HD 1080p video, and a USB input to upload your graphics, logos, and artwork to the switcher’s media library. Two configurable mic/stereo line inputs can add live narration or music to the production. Perform creative transitions, mix audio, and use the pattern generator and extensive pattern library to set up downstream and upstream keyers, all from the intuitive control panel. Flexible output options let you place a multiview screen in your control room or at your workstation and a second monitor that displays the live broadcast or any one of the incoming video sources. The switcher’s built-in encoder automatically scales and deinterlaces incoming video signals and outputs video to user-selected resolutions up to 1080p. The live broadcast can be output to a broadcast device, projector, or recorder via HDMI, and simultaneously streamed to the internet via the USB output.

Features
  • Four HDMI InputsThe VSW-4H-USB has four HDMI inputs that support up to 1080p for HDMI cameras and other HDMI sources. There’s practically no limit to the video signal that’s supported by the VSW-4H-USB, so you can attach video sources with resolutions of up to 1080p.
  • HDMI OutputsThe switcher provides you with two HDMI outputs. The Multiview output is perfect for a control room setting and the seven displayed windows allow you to monitor and control the various elements of your production in real time. The Program output can be connected to a recorder or a projector to share your broadcast with an audience.
  • 1080p 50/60 resolution supportThe four HDMI inputs support 1080p Full HD video so your output video signal will look as good as your input signals. Full HD support means crisper graphics with higher contrast for a picture that will grab your audience from the start. Flexible output options allow you to select an output resolution to conform your output signal to delivery requirements.
  • 1080p USB Program OutputGive the people watching your broadcast the video resolution they deserve. Use the included USB cable to connect the switcher to a computer, and simultaneously stream Full HD content to the internet while you’re outputting the signal to a recorder, projector or broadcast device.
  • Mix Effects BusThere’s no better way to step up your production value than utilizing the upstream and downstream keyers. Layer video, titles, graphics, and animation over a live video, and create your own graphic background when you shoot with a green screen.
  • Luma and Chroma KyesUse the Luma key to layer video or graphic sources and Chroma Key to shoot in front of a green or blue screen and composite in a virtual set or background.
  • Still Images and LogosThe downstream keyer overlays graphics over all video that’s switched to the main output. You can import your own high-quality graphics into the switcher’s graphic library and call them up to create downstream logos, bugs, and lower thirds to your program.
  • PIP and POP SupportPicture-In-Picture and Picture-On-Picture support are two upstream keyers that will boost the production value of your broadcast. The switcher lets you configure the size and position of the PIP windows , and automatically designates 50% of your screen’s width for POP windows. Display any of the four HDMI inputs, your own graphics, solid colors, or a color bar in the windows, and dazzle your audience with the additional video or graphics.
  • Audio InputsThe intuitive built-in audio mixer lets you individually configure and adjust the six audio channels and master mix for perfect audio mix to match your broadcast. Selectable on/off control for your HDMI inputs can turn off the extraneous sound you don’t want your audience to hear. And an Audio-Follow-Video option will provide realistic audio transitions as you fade from one video source to the next. Two mic/line level inputs let you add off-camera narration, voice overs, or a looped-in audio source for music or a phone call. For greater control of your audio with EQ, pan, and adding effects like reverb and compression, use the inputs to attach a separate sound mixer.
  • Monitor OutputA headphone output lets you listen to the master output or each input individually. This feature lets you check the audio of each input before enabling the channel in the audio mixer. Or you can select the master output so you can monitor your broadcast’s audio.
  • Auto and T-bar ControlTransitions like wipe, mix, and dip can be configured to your needs and production style. Set the transition speed and control your fades with the tap of the auto button. The T-bar control lets you call them the way you see them, and use the transition speed that you think is needed at the moment.
  • Automatic Scaling and DeinterlacingRegardless of the resolution of your video source, or if it’s progressive or interlaced, the switcher is equipped with a powerful scaler that can scale and deinterlace the video if necessary, conforming it to your output requirements.
